Thank you for your suggestion. We will look at possibly including this in a future update.
In the meantime, you can manually edit the transaction that was created so that the memo for that transaction will include the reason of your bank transfer.
To do this,

1. Open the Transaction Reporter via Reporting -> Transaction Reporter.
2. Select and highlight the transaction that was generated from your bank transfer (this should be labelled with the date and a transaction type "Neither".
3. Click [Edit Transaction] button.
4. Select "Minor edit" then [Continue].
5. Type something in the "Description" field and click [Save].
6. Your bank transfer transaction will now contain the detail of your bank transfer.

Hi,
The functionality recently added to facilitate transfers between bank accounts is great. However, from my perspective it would be greatly enhanced by adding a details field in which could be recorded the reason for the transfer. I can't work out how to do this manually under the present set up.
