Relatively new to the software so pls forgive me if I am missing something obvious.

Our fund has consistently re-invested the dividends paid by a non-listed fund. (currently 15 parcels and growing). Is there some means by which I can have the software recoginse the Code I have assigned the fund and automatically update ALL of the parcels of units in this fund when I update the first, without my having to manually update each one.

Cheers

Hi,

This feature is already in the software. If you revalue any financial asset for a given day, then all other financial assets with the same code, in the same asset class will be revalued to the same unit price. This happens for listed and unlisted assets.

Groups of financial assets that have the same code and are within the same asset class are clustered into a 'financial block'. For example, all assets with the code 'BHP' within the 'Shares' asset class are one financial block. When you revalue any one asset within the financial block the software will also attempt to revalue all other assets within that block.

Regards,
