Hi - When I try to process a DRP dividend ( that is not taxable )I get a message to say the entry is unbalanced? This has never happened before the new update version.

Hi,

Please provide details of what numbers you are using and which screen (quick add or the dividend screen through add / manage).

Regards,

MySF

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I have been using the Add/manage screen to post the dividend reinvestment for the non taxable dividend.

Hi again . I forgot to say that I have been using 4119 dividends not taxable for the entry = in conjunction with the add/ manage entry.

Hi,

Thanks for posting to let us know that this works ok through the new screens. We will check the original screens to see if there are any problems there. Any fixes are likely to made in the new year and released as part of an update.

Regards,

MySF

Hi

Still having problems with dividend reinvestment processing even though I have updated to 3.2.5. I discovered that the shares were being added even though the dividend was not being processed ,and the unbalanced message kept coming up. I have used both windows(quick and normal) for trying to process but  managed to only succeed on one occassion.

Hi,

We are working on changing the distribution and dividend processing screens so that this problem can be avoided in future.

Until we can issue an update with a solution to this issue please use the Quick Add screens for dividends and distributions (including reinvestments). The quick add screens allow you to do all of the task on a single page.

Please go to Cash & Journal Processing > Quick Add Dividend or Cash & Journal Processing > Quick Add Distribution to use the new screens.

Regards,

MySF
