Just wondering why there are so few ASX codes listed ?

Even after you click update listing, so many are missing (CBA for example !)

thanks

Hi,

You can type in any code into the 'Code' field, even if it is not shown in the Browse / Select list. Some codes will be recognised immediately. Unfortunately some are indeed missing.

Any code that matches with an ASX listed investment will be valid for revaluations as the software will try to automatically revalue all investments that are tagged as Exchange: ASX.

We will probably remove the Browse / Select field for codes in future as we are not able to constantly update this list and any missing codes give the impression that the software does not recognise CBA.

Also, if you add in any new assets that are not in the list then they will be recognised in future when you type in their code.

Regards,

MySF

I have also noticed something strage going on with the ASX codes listing when I tried to add a recent purchase.  The stock in question has been around for years and starts with the letter K.  When refreshing the list, it still comes up with about 5 valid codes under letter K - clearly this is not correct.  When I check on some other letters, eg B, there are a hundred or so codes.  Pls consider
