Can i change the date of purchase of shares through the financial asset editor or do i have to delete/reverse the original purchase and the dividends received from those shares and start again. i mistakenly put a purchase date of 2nd july instead of 2nd september.

Hello,

Unfortunately you'll need to reverse every transaction associated with the asset via Reporting > Transaction Reporter. Then you should go to Asset Utilities > Remove an Asset to delete the asset from the fund.

You should then finally re-enter the asset and every transaction associated with it.
